About Connect Fermanagh

Connect Fermanagh is a local charity providing befriending telephone calls, emotional support, information and signposting to adults experiencing loneliness or isolation across County Fermanagh. Our dedicated volunteer team provides calls each week, helping people feel connected, valued and supported.

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, organised and proactive Service Coordinator to lead the day‑to‑day running of our befriending service.

In this rewarding role, you will:

Support and supervise our team of volunteers
Manage referrals, service‑user matching and weekly call monitoring

Provide information, signposting and advocacy
Lead on safeguarding and follow-up actions when concerns are raised
Promote the service
Organise social activities 
Maintain records, produce monitoring reports and support fundraising activity

This is a varied, meaningful role perfect for someone who enjoys helping people, building relationships and working independently.

What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Are warm, empathetic and an excellent communicator
  • Have experience supporting volunteers or working in a community/health/social care setting
  • Understand adult safeguarding
  • Are confident organising events, managing your own workload and building community partnerships
  • Have good IT and administrative skills
  • Hold a full driving licence and have access to a car

A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, Community Development or similar is required.
